Howdy! For those of you who haven't met her, this is miss Amelia...
...and today she is 7 months old.
It feels like such a milestone, too. Just over halfway to a year, sitting up by herself, testing all the sounds she can make, and, most importantly, giving her mama 6- , 7- and even 8-hour stretches of sleep at night!
As tempting as it is to want her to get bigger and move on to each new stage so I can quit pulling my hair out and breathe/sleep/get out a little more, I try my best to appreciate each stage and enjoy her.
Pretty soon she'll be crawling, and walking, and tearing through the house with the other kids (and playing monkey-see monkey-do along with them, too!). She won't be a baby for much longer...
...uh-oh, I think I feel the urge to sew up some cute little dresses coming on (we'll just have to see if I can fit some of those in!). Here's to taking the time to stop and smell life's little roses--and the baby toes, too!
