Okay, so it is. In fact, it's the most plain Jane, vanilla-flavored, boring ole' bed skirt you'll probably ever see.
What makes it unique (besides the fact that it's finally back on my bed) is that I replaced the annoying dry-clean-only thing-a-ma-jing that sits on top of the box spring. I wish I had some photos to show you how I did it, but it was pretty easy. I just removed the skirt panels and sewed them back onto an old sheet the same size as the old liner.
Nothing super fancy (or exciting), but it's one more thing off my mending list! And please excuse my bedroom photo. My house will sooo never be featured in any kind of home decor magazine, but we make do with what we have. And it's the little touches (like a fixed-up bed skirt) that make a house a home anyway.
How's your mending coming along??
