Catherine Stitch Cowl

I began making this cowl for myself a couple weeks ago when we had a brief little cool(ish) spell. I found this pattern from people webs via Pinterest and couldn't wait to make it.

I picked up some of my favorite alpaca yarn at the local Yarn Barn. I only had enough mula to buy two skeins at the time and of course found myself running out with just a half a row to go! So I would have been done with this last week. Thanks to my lovely mom who bought me one more skein it's ready to wear!

Now if only it weren't still flip flop weather around here. We're supposed to be getting a little cold front in tonight, so we'll see. Until then, I'm hopping online to shop for some new go-to shoes. I'm a flip flop addict--not that I have a million pairs--no even worse. I wear the same two pairs. All. the. time. So, off to find some fall-friendly run around mama shoes--toodle-loo!
