I'm forever a sucker for kids books, too. This time it was a copy of Disney's Pete's Dragon with a record to listen along (and a couple of extra records tucked in with it), and a sweet vintage book called Up and Down the Escalator.
My first and favorite find was this little sleeping bag. I was drawn to the print; isn't it adorable? I think it's from so old Golden Book illustrations (any experts out there?). I couldn't tell how old it is, there was no tag and it had a metal zipper, and can open out flat like a blanket. It could even be handmade. Either way I love it--too bad I can't fit in it.
