Kitchen Redo Update #2

We began renovating our kitchen last month, and are still underway. Here's what we've been up to this past month (among other things, like starting our first year of homeschool!):

Ripping up a million layers of old flooring (we're not keeping the black)

Fixing up old windows

Tearing out the old sink (it was way gross back there!)

Sanding the heck out of that black floor

Subway tile!

A few plumbing hiccups

Our gorgeous new sink (and no more washing dishes in the bathroom)

And picking out a few details (there are so many things to decide on!)

Next up we're hoping to finish the floors this week (say a prayer for us!), paint the old cabinets, add the tile on the other wall, more painting, and picking up our dishwasher! And I have to say again that my amazing husband is the one doing most of the work with this ginormous prooject--he really should start his own home renovation blog ;)
