Along with our paper cup crowns, we also made some pom-pom rings for Eleanor's party earlier this month. I was inspired by this tutorial on Sew-Crafty Kids. We hot glued our pom-poms onto some dollar store rings, although Sew-Crafty Kids has a clever way to make the ring that doesn't require glue (and I'm wishing I had tried!).
We also used one of these pom-pom makers instead. I can't tell you how much I loved using the pom-pom maker--I've tried making them by hand a number of ways but the maker has changed how I look at pom-poms. And it was much easier for the kids to use themselves, too. You'll definitely be seeing more of them around here!
