There's a new makerspace coming to San Antonio, and this weekend they're kicking off with Makevember!
Make San Antonio is a soon-to-be makerspace with a goal to foster innovation and collaboration in the San Antonio community. In an effort to demonstrate to the community what a makerspace is all about, the team at Make San Antonio has gathered local makers, creators and innovators to feature their work under one roof, and show that there is a need for a central hub for creatives to unite.
“Our idea behind Makevember is to show that there’s a thriving creative force in San Antonio, and that we need a space for people to unite and create,” says Make San Antonio co-founder Greg Reyes. “We hope to create this space with Make San Antonio. We’re working towards making our dream to create a makerspace in San Antonio a reality.”
